After a 10-month hiatus, Young Animal magazine announced that Kentaro Miura will be continuing Berserk in the magazine’s next issue as a month-to-month series.
Berserk’s last chapter release in Young Animal was September 26 of last year. Shortly after, Muira-san put the series on hiatus to work on a mini-series, Gigantomakhia. Berserk went through a series of on and off again hiatuses last year which frustrated many fans to no end.
“Berserk (Japanese: ベルセルク, Hepburn: Beruseruku ?) is a manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. Set in a medieval Europe-inspired fantasy world, the story centers on the characters of Guts, an orphaned mercenary, and Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the Band of the Hawk.” (Excerpt summary from Wikipedia)
Here’s to hoping the manga shall return for good and the dedicated fans will be able to get fix they so much desire!
