It’s becoming common in Japan for there to be designated, enclosed smoking rooms in offices and shopping centers. What isn’t common is this man’s ability to levitate a paper cup and a lit cigarette in one of these rooms.

Man Creates Beautiful Wooden Boxes In The Hakone Marquetry Style

Hakone is a town in Ashigarashimo District in Kanagawa Prefecture, located ~80km from Tokyo. Hakone Zaiku is a type of marquetry based on geometric designs. Watching this man create each piece to make only one sheet is absolutely amazing.

68 Candles On This Japanese Grandma’s Birthday Cake = Disaster

The family of tankobugadekita‘s grandma decided to light 68 candles on her birthday and records her attempts to blow out the candles. This isn’t something you should try at home due to the fire hazard.

Gospel Choir from New York Performs “Cruel Angel’s Thesis” on Nodo Jiman the World

A gospel choir from New York competed in NHK Nodo Jiman by performing the opening song to Neon Genesis Evangelion, “Cruel Angel’s Thesis.”
