Hey, West Coasters! Momoiro Clover Z is set to perform with KISS in Los Angeles on July 2 at the Nokia Theater. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, two members of the legendary band KISS, will make an appearance. Tickets are not currently available on the Nokia Theater’s website yet but keep an eye out for when they do go on sale.
The two bands collaborated on “Yume no Ukiyo ni Saitemina” a single that MCZ released some time back, peaking at #1 on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart and at #2 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart.
With the success of Momoiro Clover Z’s collaboration with KISS, it’s possible that we’ll get to see more collaborations between Japanese artists and artists from other countries. Hopefully, these collaborations will not only be successes in Japan, but abroad, as well. At the very least, maybe Momoiro Clover Z and KISS will schedule more shows together? Until then, I will keep munching on some gysahl greens.
