    Watched this episode and was very unimpressed. Read the manga afterwards, after hearing how much of a disservice this first episode was, and was similarly unimpressed. The bland character designs, environments, and action scenes are a 1:1 between both mediums.

    Don’t get me wrong, the anime could (and should) look a lot better in motion than it does but, honestly, this first episode felt no different to me than when I read the corresponding chapters.
