Amazing you can get any anime in with four kids! I agree with you. Ponyo is a great starter film for kids and a very good film overall. My son now 8 loves cars and has a toy drifter so the first series we started with was Initial D. My oldest son (now in his 20s) was/is a huge Dragon Ball fan. A series we still share.

Thanks for the read, Paul! And time is at a premium with this many children. It’s great hearing about other parents and their introduction of their children into anime. My oldest loves him some Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars, so I wonder if Initial D would be something he would like too.

And it’s great to be able to have a series you share with your children. For me, it’s been Yokai Watch and more recently Nyanbo. I love watching both with my kids.
