    You gave a great and even handed description of your experience so far in Japan. It was nice to see what an actual school lunch looks like. No heat would be a killer for me…I hate being cold. Anyway, it must have been a real culture adjustment from NY, the melting pot of the world, to Sendai which probably has few multi-ethnicities. Seems like you are doing a good job dealing with the differences. Please give us an update as the year progresses.
