Before I thought this show was just a mystery anime that used the band setting to say “we’re different other mystery animes”. But now, after this episode, I can see what they’re doing. They’re using the mystery to build up the band and not “deal” with the normal problems, which are hard to make interesting (Hibike! did wonderfully).

This episode itself was terrific. Though too bad it will take time to Akira becomes a full band member

I just have to disagree about the anime being one to remember. Because to me, this type of anime would be memorable if the characters changes (again, like Hibike), or it has some climax. Since up until now we only have the mystery, it seems more like Kamisa-sama no memochou, which while I really like, I can’t say it’s memorable, though it’s a very good anime

Hmm. I believe if it does something intense or invokes a plot twist, then it has potential. Of course, HaruChika is not for everyone, so there will be elements in it that some people won’t like.

We are only 5 episodes in, so things can get hectic at anytime, especially now since it is near the halfway point.

Since it’s PA Works (if I’m not mistaken) there’ll be intense emotional drama towards the end. Right now, what I can guess is something involving the MCs feelings for each other and the professor. Since it’s mainstream, i doubt Haru is gay, but if he really is, it would be an interesting plot twist. Right now we can only speculate, but I trust PA Works to deliver something that will make us remember. Hanakusa Iroha is still in my memory
