    This episode was indeed good. But I believe it was a bit rushed. I might be wrong, but from what I remember, Mary’s previous team was stronger then our MCs, but they are already reaching the same place. It might be that there’s an unseen time progression (it would explain the new skills being used so well) but I think it should be more obvious.

    Ranta is probably hiding his true feelings under that. I believe Manato death affected him more than we think and his away to forsake team work is both his way to get stronger and protect the others, but also a way to prevent himself from falling into despair like Mary did when her friends died.
