Which Anime best fit these Proverbs? (Pt #1)

Are you the Ultimate Anime Proverb Guru?

Over the course of a few weeks, I hit up the Crunchyroll forums to ask “Which Proverb = Which Anime?” After several dozen replies, and all of them really good, I decided I couldn’t just pick a handful. I decided I will be breaking up the responses into a series of articles. Below are the first of many proverbs that Crunchyroll users have come up with to relate to some of your favorite anime.

Can you guess which proverb relates to which series? Give it a shot and let us know how you did in the comments.
